Experience
I was a proofreader and subeditor for specialist sports magazines and newspapers in the 1970s, more recently deputy editor of Show Dogs Ireland magazine (2009-2011). I have been working freelance since 2011.
I have been a qualified accountant for over 25 years. I am now using this to edit and proofread annual reports, business communications (e.g. minutes of key meetings and announcements) and press releases for European banks and financial institutions, in UK or US English.
