Experience

I began my career in public relations, where I developed innovative campaigns for some of Ireland’s leading brands. Subsequently worked as a journalist for national newspapers and magazines (specialised in writing business interviews/profiles, news features and health/medical articles). Author of two medical self-help books published by Gill. Owner of O’Hanlon Media, which was founded in 1996.

Copy-editing and rewriting in areas such as healthcare, education, life sciences, technology, financial services, real estate and the arts. Also substantive editing, business editing, scientific editing, technical editing, non-fiction editing. Reworking materials produced by non-native English speakers is one of my key strengths.
