Teaching, 1961–70; trainee editor/editor Educational Co of Ireland, 1970–75. Resumed teaching career. The last 15 years of my teaching career in special education have been most useful in preparing me for publications in that field; likewise the IIEA kept me abreast of current affairs particularly European Union matters.
