I have experience proofreading and copy-editing fiction and non-fiction books, such as art, sports, gardening, autobiographies and miscellaneous collections (e.g., poetry). I have also edited academic articles in science journals and academic theses. I worked as subeditor at a regional newspaper, where the subject matter was varied and included current affairs, opinion, sports and local news items, as well as a mix of regular columns in subjects such as cookery, wildlife, gardening, interior design and alternative medicine.
